About UBA
Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, aimed at promoting sustainable rural development through active participation of higher educational institutions. The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and rural realities by encouraging students and faculty members to engage directly with village communities.
Through UBA, educational institutions collaborate with rural communities to identify local challenges and develop practical, sustainable, and innovative solutions. The programme fosters community participation, social responsibility, and experiential learning while contributing to the holistic development of villages.
